Little Ole Opry--Country Christmas

Climb up on the rooftops and soar into the season with Little Theatre on the Bay's “Country Christmas”, an evening (or afternoon) of rockin' around the Christmas tree with song and dance to bring yuletide cheer! Of course, the Comedy Team will split your sides with the usual off-beat humor Little Ole Opry has made famous. The festivities are December 5, 6, and 7 at LTOB, 2100 Sherman Avenue, North Bend . Friday and Saturday shows are at 8PM and there is a Sunday Matinee at 2PM.
All seats will be sold “Reserved” which means the best seats are taken by those who order their seats first. Complete information about all shows is available at www.ltob.net.

Candy Cane Lane Bazaar and Luncheon

The Pioneer United Methodist Church in Coquille will have its annual Candy Cane Lane Bazaar and turkey luncheon from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. The luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for $7 per person. Hand-crafted gifts, candy, baked goods and holiday decorations will be available for sale. Holiday Celebration Wine Walk

Downtown Coos Bay businesses will present a Holiday Celebration Wine Walk from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. The World Newspaper is coordinating the event and will be selling wine glasses for $10, with proceeds to benefit the South Coast Food Share and South Coast Clambake Jazz Festival. The Wine Walk will start at the corner of Anderson and South 2nd St., at Hair Co. Etc. in Coos Bay. Each participant will get a map to guide them.
